This device is not designed to replace a healthcare professional's (HCP's) clinical assessment and decision making; it is an adjunctive tool to provide them with additional information about a suspicious lesion. 

While there are likely many lesions which HCP's may not feel they need any additional information about to make an appropriate clinical decision, for equivocal risk lesions DermaSensor™ can be a helpful, quick additional piece of relevant clinical information to help inform next steps (e.g. referral, biopsy, or monitor).
